Major Renovation of 1934 Colonial
Located in the Denver Country Club Historic District, this beautiful home was expanded multiple times over the past 75 years. The end result was a disjointed layout and mixed-up architecture. This prompted the homeowner to undertake a major renovation. In the planning stage, several options were considered to further expand their living space. However, the home was nearing the maximum allowable lot coverage.
Ted Tapparo and Crawlspaces 2 Basements were selected to complete the necessary demolition, excavation and structural concrete. They also provided a unique solution to expand the family’s living space, by converting several existing crawlspaces to create a valuable full basement beneath this historic home.
Crawlspaces 2 Basements provided the family with 845 sf of new living space for an executive home office, a personal gym with private bathroom and plenty of storage space. This dramatic renovation will be finished in Fall 2010.
